Drive Workday integration delivery, translating business requirements into specifications, mappings and solutions across business and technical teams.

Role

As a Senior Integration Analyst - Workday, you'll play a hands-on role in analysing, documenting and supporting the delivery of integrations across the Workday program.

You'll focus on understanding how data moves between systems, defining integration requirements, documenting interface specifications and ensuring mappings and transformation rules are accurate and fit for purpose. You'll also support integrations using Boomi, particularly those connecting Workday and other enterprise platforms to downstream systems.

This role suits an experienced Integration Analyst or Technical Business Analyst who enjoys working through complex data flows, resolving integration challenges and supporting delivery from requirements gathering through to testing and validation.

Key responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document integration requirements across the Workday program.
  • Support the delivery of 26 integration points, including integrations into downstream systems.
  • Define and document inbound and outbound integration requirements, business rules, triggers, dependencies and validation requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed Integration Functional Specifications and interface documentation.
  • Produce and maintain source-to-target data mappings, transformation rules and data derivations.
  • Support Boomi-based integrations and work with technical teams to translate functional requirements into integration solutions.
  • Collaborate with Functional Leads, Business Analysts, Payroll SMEs, Data teams and system owners to validate requirements and mappings.
  • Identify integration dependencies, data impacts, risks and delivery issues.
  • Support integration testing, data validation, reconciliation, defect investigation and resolution.
  • Maintain integration documentation, requirements traceability and supporting project artefacts.
  • Work closely with system integrators, implementation partners and vendors to support integration delivery.
  • Ensure integration deliverables remain aligned with program milestones and business requirements.

You will have

  • Strong experience delivering integrations within complex transformation, ERP, HCM or enterprise technology programs.
  • Proven functional analysis and requirements-gathering capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience documenting integration requirements, interface specifications and functional designs.
  • Strong experience with source-to-target mapping, data transformation rules and data analysis.
  • Experience working across multiple systems and complex integration landscapes.
  • A sound understanding of integration lifecycles, dependencies, testing and defect resolution.
  • Experience supporting system integration testing (SIT), data reconciliation and validation activities.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business, functional and technical teams.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Desirable experience

  • Workday integration experience.
  • Experience with Boomi, particularly integrations delivering data to downstream systems.
  • Experience working with HR, payroll or workforce management systems.
  • Understanding of APIs, web services, file-based interfaces and integration patterns.
  • Experience supporting payroll-related integrations.
  • Experience working with system integrators and third-party implementation partners.
  • Experience within healthcare or another complex workforce environment.
  • Workday-related training, certifications or relevant business analysis and integration qualifications.
